Six Flags Over Georgia's Family Halloween Event Wraps Up Nov. 1

From noon to 5 p.m. on November 1, Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell, Cobb County, Georgia, held the season's final weekend day of "Tricks & Treats," its daytime family Halloween event, as previewed by an Atlanta Chinese community information site. The park, at 275 Riverside Parkway, offered a trick-or-treat trail for children 12 and under, along with a Halloween costume contest, themed character meet-and-greets and live performances, plus pumpkin decorating, an inflatable corn maze and seasonal food — an outing for the whole family.
Unlike "Fright Fest," the scare-themed event that opens separately after dark, the daytime "Tricks & Treats" is a gentler family program; park guidance does not recommend the nighttime scare zones for children under 13. For Chinese families in Atlanta, the afternoon of Sunday, November 1 was the last chance this season to catch the event, with children able to wear Halloween costumes for trick-or-treating and the costume contest while parents enjoy the park's family rides. Specific hours and ticketing follow Six Flags' official calendar, and visitors should confirm again before setting out.
