Atlanta Kicks Off Women's Small Business Month With 200+ Business Leaders
Atlanta is a city in Fulton County, Georgia. Atlanta City Council President Marci Collier Overstreet hosted the WEOP Women's Small Business Month kickoff at City Hall on October 1, drawing more than 200 women business leaders.
Held under the theme “State of City Support: Accelerating Business Growth & Economic Opportunity,” the event highlighted Invest Atlanta's 2025 results, including $1.7 billion in capital and support for 1,087 small businesses. Council leaders said the city will keep connecting women entrepreneurs with resources and opportunities.
