Austin ISD Podcast Highlights Cybersecurity Month and School Holiday
Austin is a city in Travis County, Texas. Austin ISD released its official podcast for October 5, reminding families that Friday, October 9, is a student and staff holiday. October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and the district's IT Team is running a campaign from October 1 to November 6 under the theme "Don't Make it Easy for Them!" to help protect personal data and school networks.
The episode also introduces the newly launched "English for Me" basic English classes for district families and notes that H-E-B is now accepting nominations for its 2027 Excellence in Education Awards. The cafeteria highlight is chicken enchiladas in red sauce with red rice.
