Corona Opens Downtown Innovation Center at the Public Library
Corona is a city in Riverside County, California. The Corona Innovation Center has officially opened inside the Corona Public Library. Built with a $2.5 million State of California grant (secured in 2023 through GO-Biz and the office of Senator Richard Roth), the project turned a portion of the library into a flexible space for technology, entrepreneurship, workforce training and career opportunities.
The center offers business and entrepreneurship services, workforce and career-pathway programs, youth STEM education, technology resources and workshops, delivered with local schools, colleges, businesses and regional partners. City officials are positioning it as an anchor of downtown revitalization, giving residents a place to learn, collaborate and build skills close to home. (GSM, from the City of Corona website)
