Dallas is a city in Dallas County, Texas. The Gene and Jerry Jones Family Foundation, the charitable arm associated with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and his wife Gene, announced on Monday, Oct. 12, a $10 million donation to the Clinton Foundation to support the modernization and renovation of the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, according to Arkansas Business and Talk Business & Politics. Jones announced the gift alongside former President Bill Clinton at a Little Rock Touchdown Club event.

"It is one of my greatest honors to stand next to President Clinton and be able to make this donation with my wife, Gene, and our family," Jones said in a statement, adding that Arkansas, Little Rock and the University of Arkansas have been at the core of his family's experience. Clinton called Jones "an American sports icon" and said he was deeply grateful for Jones's dedication to their home state of Arkansas.

The funding will enhance the Clinton Center's educational facilities, which house programming for students of all ages, teacher resources, and adult and civic learning, as well as the Clinton School of Public Service, part of the University of Arkansas System, which offers the nation's first Master of Public Service degree. The modernization and expansion, the first in two decades, is led by architect Jeanne Gang and Studio Gang and includes a renovation of the Clinton-Gore administration gallery, a new gallery and archive dedicated to Hillary Clinton's lifetime of service, a new home for the Clinton School of Public Service, and a major redesign of the 50-acre Clinton Presidential Park.

Since opening in 2004, the Clinton Center has generated more than $4.9 billion in economic impact in Little Rock and North Little Rock, welcomed more than 5.5 million visitors, opened its doors free of charge to 525,000 students and educators, and graduated more than 700 students from the Clinton School of Public Service.
