Fontana Fire Station 71 Hosts Free Open House on Oct. 10
Fontana is a city in San Bernardino County, California. Fire Station 71 in Fontana will open its doors to the public on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 16980 Arrow Boulevard. The free open house lets families climb aboard a real fire engine, try on firefighter gear, play games and watch a live Jaws of Life demonstration, with mascot Sparky on hand for photos.
Station 71 is one of the busiest stations in the area, responding to nearly 6,000 incidents a year. The city is inviting residents to stop by and meet the firefighters who serve their neighborhoods; no registration is needed.
