Waikiki Welcomes Hawaii's First Hilton Club Resort, Creating Nearly 200 Full-Time Jobs

Honolulu is a city in Honolulu County, Hawaii (a consolidated city-county). Hilton Grand Vacations opened Ka Haku, a Hilton Club, in the heart of Waikiki on October 2. It is the company's 14th resort in Hawaii and the first under the Hilton Club brand, offering 205 studios and one- to three-bedroom suites with ocean, mountain and city views, plus a pool, fitness center and Waikiki's first Japanese-style bathhouse.
The company says the project created nearly 200 full-time hospitality jobs and more than 400 local construction jobs. Working with the City and County of Honolulu, it also donated $1 million to revitalize Kuhio Beach Park, funding safety and maintenance improvements for residents and visitors.
