Irvine’s 25th Global Village Festival Set for Oct. 10 at Great Park, Free Admission

Irvine is a city in Orange County, California. The City of Irvine’s 25th annual Global Village Festival takes place Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Orange County Great Park, with free admission and free general parking.

Spanning Great Park Live, the Palm Court Arts Complex and the Promenade, this year’s festival features 30+ food vendors (select $5 sampling menus), a Global Marketplace with 25+ local artisans and junior entrepreneurs, 46+ music and dance performances across three stages, plus martial arts demonstrations, art exhibits and family crafts.

General parking is free in Lots 4–7, ADA parking is in Lot 2, premier parking in Lot 2 is $10, and rideshare drop-off/pick-up is in Lot 1. With high Orange County temperatures expected, the city advises hats, sunscreen and a reusable water bottle; free refill stations will be on site. The Great Park Balloon flies 10 a.m.–6 p.m. for a separate fee. Details: irvinefestival.org.

This year also features a special 25th-anniversary retrospective exhibit, tracing how the festival grew from a small park celebration into Orange County's signature multicultural event.
