Las Vegas Fire Station 43 Holds Traditional Push-In Ceremony for New Engine on Oct. 10
Las Vegas is a city in Clark County, Nevada. Las Vegas Fire & Rescue will hold a push-in ceremony for Engine 43 at Fire Station 43, 6420 Smoke Ranch Road, at 9 a.m. on October 10, 2026. The city says the event marks an investment in community public safety, and elected officials, firefighters and the public are welcome, with light refreshments served.
The push-in tradition dates to horse-drawn fire engines that crews had to push back into the station after a call; today it is a public way to place a new engine into service and show residents the equipment serving their neighborhood.
