Los Angeles Updates Citywide ADA Transition Plan, Invites Public Survey Through October 30

Los Angeles is a city in Los Angeles County, California. The City of Los Angeles announced on October 2 that it is updating its citywide ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan, reviewing city programs, services, facilities, communications, policies and digital resources to identify accessibility barriers and prioritize fixes. More than one million Los Angeles County residents live with a disability.
Residents and advocates have already shared experiences through a public hearing and community survey, and the city is inviting Angelenos to complete its ADA Public Input Survey at Disability.LACity.gov by October 30, 2026. The feedback will help shape the updated transition plan.
