Los Angeles Mayor Welcomes SoCalGas Downtown Headquarters and 700-Plus Jobs
Los Angeles is a city in Los Angeles County, California. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass joined SoCalGas, public officials and business leaders to celebrate the company's new downtown headquarters at 2CAL. City officials said more than 700 SoCalGas employees will work from the new office, adding momentum to a series of recent private investments in Downtown Los Angeles.
Bass said downtown is the city's economic, cultural and civic heart, and her administration is working on public safety, cleaner streets, activated public spaces and support for local businesses. She said continued corporate investment in the city center supports jobs, foot traffic and long-term economic activity.
