Snøhetta Building Breaks Ground in Miami Design District
Miami is a city in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Miami Design District Associates and Raycliff Capital broke ground Oct. 1 on a mixed-use office and retail building designed by Snøhetta, the Oslo and New York-based architecture firm. Atria Health and Research Institute signed about 55,000 square feet across the third, fourth and fifth floors with a private ground-floor entrance as the first confirmed tenant, bringing membership-based preventive health and longevity services to the district. Alternative asset manager 26North will also join the project. Developers call it a key step in the Design District's continued evolution.
