Minneapolis Marks Latino Business Week, Urging Support for Local Shops
Minneapolis is a city in Hennepin County, Minnesota. The City of Minneapolis announced on October 5 that October 3 to 11 is Latino Business Week, encouraging residents to support Latino-owned businesses across the city. The mayor formally proclaimed the week, and the city's economic development department hopes the campaign will highlight how these small businesses contribute to neighborhood jobs and vitality. For immigrant families who live and run businesses in the area, the week also offers a chance to connect with city resources and business support programs that are open to entrepreneurs of all backgrounds.
