Palm Desert Graffiti Crews Answer Nearly 500 Reports a Month; Residents Can Report via App
Palm Desert is a city in Riverside County, California. Palm Desert's graffiti abatement program, running for more than 20 years, handles nearly 500 reports a month, with crews often removing vandalism before the start of the day and using color-matching so repairs blend into existing surfaces. The city says crews are also becoming proactive, scouting problem areas before they are reported. Residents who spot graffiti can send it in through the city's Palm Desert InTouch mobile app — the sooner it is reported, the sooner it can be removed.
