University Line work brings parking restrictions to Uptown next week
Pittsburgh is a city in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh Regional Transit announced on Oct. 2 that milling and paving for the University Line bus rapid transit project will bring parking restrictions to Forbes and Fifth avenues and nearby Uptown streets starting Tuesday, Oct. 6, with weather-dependent work expected to run through the end of October.
Crews will work Mondays through Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and parking will also be barred at intersections inside the work zone, while bus stops remain unaffected. Drivers should expect delays and can check the agency's BRT pages for weekly construction updates.
