County notes Sunday morning closure of Armstrong Tunnel and Philip Murray Bridge for charity run
Pittsburgh is a city in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Allegheny County's Department of Public Works said on Oct. 2 that the inbound Armstrong Tunnel and the Philip Murray Bridge, also known as the South Tenth Street Bridge, will close from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, for the Pittsburgh Penguins 6.6K Run and Family Walk.
The county stressed that it is not involved in running the event and issued the notice as a public service. Drivers traveling between downtown and the South Side on Sunday morning should plan alternate routes.
