St. Louis Election Board Issues Revised Electioneering Policy

St. Louis is an independent city in Missouri. The St. Louis Board of Election Commissioners has issued a revised electioneering policy ahead of the November 3, 2026 general election. The rules apply on election day and during absentee voting, inside polling-place buildings and within 50 feet of the entrance closest to the polling place.
Restricted activities include exit polling, surveying, sampling, electioneering, handing out campaign literature, petitioning and placing sign-bearing vehicles. An exception covers the outer 25-to-50-foot band, where a candidate who is not voting at that site may be present, distribute literature and place campaign signs.
