St. Louis Be Well Pavilion in Hyde Park to Open with Oct. 14 Ribbon Cutting

St. Louis is an independent city in Missouri. The City of St. Louis has announced a ribbon cutting for the Be Well Pavilion on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at 2030 Salisbury Street in the Hyde Park neighborhood of North St. Louis, with the community invited to attend. The project transforms a vacant property into a community space that, together with a community garden and rainscape, is designed for gatherings, outdoor markets, wellness and gardening activities. It was made possible in part through a $217,000 Neighborhood Transformation Grant from the city's Community Development Administration (CDA), funded through the American Rescue Plan Act. Operator Be Well Cafe & Market says the pavilion builds on its work to increase access to fresh produce and support local farmers and entrepreneurs. Established in 1974, CDA is the City of St. Louis's housing and community development agency and invests approximately $25 million each year in affordable housing, community development and public services across the city.
