Texas Tech Tops Colorado 29-7 in Boulder
BOULDER, Colo. — The Colorado Buffaloes fell 29-7 to Texas Tech at Folsom Field on Oct. 3, Buffaloes Wire reported, as the Buffaloes' offense sputtered to a single touchdown in front of a disappointed home crowd.
Texas Tech seized control from the outset, efficient on offense and stout on defense, steadily pulling away. Colorado's quarterback couldn't establish any rhythm under pressure, and the team's trademark passing attack went silent.
Head coach Deion Sanders admitted afterward his team was outplayed on both sides of the ball and promised serious self-scouting. Mounting losses have clouded the Buffaloes' season outlook and deepened fan anxiety.
Texas Tech, meanwhile, solidified its conference standing with the road rout and kept its title-game push alive — a balanced performance that served notice to the rest of the league.
