No. 4 Miami Rolls Past Clemson 41-13, Takes Sole Possession of ACC Lead at 5-0

MIAMI — No. 4 Miami rolled to a 41-13 win at Clemson on the night of Oct. 3, improving to 5-0 and seizing sole possession of first place in the ACC, USA Today reported. It was Miami's first win at Clemson's Memorial Stadium — "Death Valley" — since 2010.
Quarterback Darian Mensah threw for 227 yards and a touchdown and added a 34-yard rushing score. Running back Mark Fletcher Jr., back from injury, rushed for 77 yards and two touchdowns. Receiver Cooper Barkate caught five passes for 98 yards, including a long touchdown on Miami's second play from scrimmage.
Miami's defense was just as dominant, sacking Clemson freshman quarterback Tait Reynolds six times. Freshman JJ Dunnigan sealed it with a 39-yard pick-six in the closing minutes.
Clemson coach Dabo Swinney called it the fourth-worst loss of his tenure. Miami has a bye next, then hosts rival Florida State.
