Nebraska Rallies Past Maryland 48-23 on Homecoming in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. — On homecoming Saturday, the Nebraska Cornhuskers rallied from a halftime deficit to beat Maryland 48-23 at Memorial Stadium on Oct. 3, Cornhuskers Wire reported.
Maryland struck first and carried momentum into the break, but Nebraska adjusted and took over after halftime. The offense caught fire in the second half while the defense slammed the door, stretching the lead to 25 points by the final whistle.
A packed Memorial Stadium — filled with returning alumni and students — roared as the comeback unfolded. The head coach said afterward the team's resilience was encouraging, singling out the second-half shutout as the key.
