Google Nears $1 Billion Nuclear Power Deal with Constellation

Google parent Alphabet is close to signing a multi-year nuclear power purchase agreement worth at least $1 billion with Constellation Energy, America's largest nuclear operator, to secure electricity for SI data center expansion. An announcement could come as soon as this week.
Nuclear offers round-the-clock stable, zero-emission power and is regaining favor with tech giants. Both sides declined to comment; project scale and location remain undisclosed.
