G.E.M. Closes 'I Am Gloria' Tour in Shenzhen: 182 Shows Done, Guinness Record for 170 Stadium Dates

On the night of October 5, singer G.E.M. (Gloria Tang, known in Mandarin as Deng Ziqi) performed the 182nd and final show of her "I Am Gloria" world tour at the Shenzhen Universiade Center Stadium in Longgang, Shenzhen, closing a tour of nearly three years. During the show, a Guinness World Records adjudicator took the stage to announce and present the certificate: G.E.M. had earned the Guinness title for the most stadium shows on a music tour by a solo artist. "After 182 shows in nearly three years... tonight is not only our final show, it is also the night we rewrite history together," she told the crowd.
The figures follow the official account published by Guinness World Records: the tour began on December 7, 2023, in Guangzhou and, as of October 5, 2026, comprised 182 shows in total — 170 of them in stadiums and the remaining 12 in arenas — spanning three continents and 69 cities, with cumulative attendance of more than seven million. The 182 figure is the tour's total show count; the certified record rests on the 170 stadium shows, and the two numbers measure different things.
The final Shenzhen stand was eventful: during the October 4 show, a downpour left her in-ear monitors waterlogged, damaged her golden microphone and displaced a contact lens, according to Shenzhen media reports; after switching microphones she finished the show as tens of thousands of fans stayed in their raincoats. The day after the finale, she turned the page: "Free You," the lead single from her new album, was released digitally on October 6 — written by G.E.M. herself and, for the first time, produced and arranged by Li Ronghao.
