U.S. Stock Futures Rise Tuesday as Treasury Yields Retreat from 24-Year High

U.S. stock futures pointed higher ahead of Tuesday's open, with Nasdaq futures up about 0.7% and Dow futures up about 0.5%, as markets looked to extend their strong start to the week. The 10-year Treasury yield pulled back to around 5.26%, below Monday's 5.31% close — Monday's close had set another 24-year high.
WTI crude fell 2.3% to $87.40 a barrel, while gold futures rose 1% to $4,205 an ounce. Bitcoin traded near $86,100, below Monday's high of roughly $87,000. The Nasdaq closed at a record high on Monday and the S&P 500 sits less than 1% from a new high, as worries eased that the Federal Reserve could raise rates again later this month. Minutes from the Fed's last meeting are due Wednesday. (Investopedia)
