'31 Days of Halloween' Series Goes Viral: Daily Numbered Videos Become TikTok's October Ritual

According to SocialPilot's October TikTok trend roundup, a serial format called 31 Days of Halloween kept rising through the month: creators post one Halloween-themed video every day in October, clearly numbered Day X of 31, turning one-off views into a followable series. The hashtag #31daysofhalloween was flagged as rising.
The roundup said the format fits almost any category: a bakery can make 31 spooky treats, a bookstore can recommend 31 horror picks, and a nail salon can post 31 themed sets. The numbering creates a come-back-tomorrow expectation that single viral clips lack, prompting viewers to follow accounts so they do not miss the next instalment.
By the second week of October, the first daily posters had reached day 7, comment sections began filling with requests for the next episode and recap posts, and many small businesses adopted the 31-day series as their content calendar for the month. Analysts cautioned that the hard part is the back half's material supply, and that batch-filming in advance with spare topics in reserve is what successful accounts have in common.
