Texans Open Tank Dell's Practice Window, Sign QB Mark Gronowski to Active Roster

Houston is a city in Harris County, Texas. The winless Houston Texans made a series of roster moves on Wednesday, October 7, headlined by wide receiver Tank Dell's return to practice. The team opened the 21-day practice window for Dell, defensive tackle Kayden McDonald and offensive tackle Braden Smith.
Dell has been sidelined since Week 16 of the 2024 season. Houston must decide within the 21-day window whether to activate him to the 53-man roster.
The Texans also signed quarterback Mark Gronowski to the active roster from the practice squad. Gronowski signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in May, was waived and re-signed several times, and joined Houston's practice squad on September 8. He now slots in behind starter C.J. Stroud and backup Davis Mills.
