Fort Dix Corrections Officer Pleads Guilty to Sexually Abusing Federal Inmate

BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J. — A corrections officer at Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix pleaded guilty Tuesday to sexually abusing an individual in federal custody, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey announced, in a case that has drawn attention because the prison also houses Sean "Diddy" Combs. Prosecutors stressed the case does not involve Combs.

Jordan Pensak, 27, admitted that she had sex with an inmate at the Burlington County facility in January 2026 and exchanged sexually explicit photos and messages with him through social media and electronic applications, according to court documents and statements made in court. The inmate allegedly used two contraband cellphones to facilitate the exchanges — a serious security breach in itself.

Pensak also admitted discussing the relationship with multiple people, including members of the inmate's family. In one message, she raised concerns that she could be pregnant with the inmate's child, prosecutors said.

She is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 10, 2027. The charge carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Federal prosecutors said the case underscores the Bureau of Prisons' zero-tolerance policy toward sexual abuse of inmates by staff.

Fort Dix, a low-security federal prison in Burlington County, has faced additional scrutiny following reports about Combs' life behind bars, and the rapper's projected release date was recently pushed back. The facility is part of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, one of the Defense Department's largest joint bases.
