Pro-Palestinian March Marks October 7 Anniversary at Seattle Central College
Seattle is a city in King County, Washington. On Wednesday, October 7 — the third anniversary of the 2023 Hamas-led attack on Israel — pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched at Seattle Central College, chanting slogans including "Long live October 7th" and waving Palestinian flags as participants moved toward Cal Anderson Park. Organizers had called for walkouts at middle schools, high schools and colleges statewide, but the turnout was limited.
The Seattle Police Department cited reports of minor property damage, including tagging of buildings. No injuries were reported, and the anticipated statewide student walkout largely failed to materialize.
