Aaron Sorkin's 'A Few Good Men' Begins Broadway Previews at Lincoln Center

Lincoln Center Theater's revival of Aaron Sorkin's 'A Few Good Men' began previews on Oct. 8 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, ahead of an Oct. 29 opening and a limited 13-week run, according to Playbill's Broadway schedule. Michael Arden directs a cast led by Bradley Whitford, Tom Blyth and Krysta Rodriguez.
The play follows Navy lawyers defending two Marines accused of murdering a fellow Marine, and the corruption their defense uncovers. Premiered on Broadway in 1989 and adapted into the Oscar-nominated 1992 film, it remains Sorkin's best-known stage work; the revival, more than three decades on, tests the durability of his signature walk-and-talk dialogue.
Whitford's reunion with Sorkin's writing — the two collaborated for years on 'The West Wing' — was among the production's headline draws. Lincoln Center Theater billed the play as the opening production of its 2026/27 season.
The Vivian Beaumont is Broadway's only large house inside the Lincoln Center campus, seating more than 1,100 with a thrust stage and semi-surrounding audience. Lincoln Center Theater advises that the production contains military courtroom themes and adult language; preview tickets were on sale through official channels.
