Icelandair to Launch Nonstop St. Louis–Reykjavik Seasonal Service in May 2027

St. Louis is an independent city in Missouri. St. Louis is getting a new transatlantic link. Icelandair announced on October 8 that it will launch seasonal nonstop service between Keflavík International Airport in Iceland and St. Louis Lambert International Airport, running from May 14 to October 24, 2027. Flights will operate three to four times weekly on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday pattern, using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The route gives travelers in St. Louis and the wider Midwest a new nonstop path to Iceland and one-stop connections through Keflavík to more than 35 European destinations. St. Louis also sits at the center of Icelandair's growing partnership with Southwest Airlines, whose large domestic network at Lambert feeds the new service with connection opportunities across North America, Iceland and Europe.
In the same announcement, Icelandair said Madrid will return to its network from April 9 to October 25, 2027, with two to three flights weekly. The expansion arrives just ahead of the airline's 90th anniversary on June 3, 2027.
