Hesperia: Sizzler cheese toast fundraiser nets $1,609 for Victor Valley College softball team
Hesperia is a city in San Bernardino County, California. The Sizzler restaurant in Hesperia raised $1,609.10 for the Victor Valley College Rams softball team through its September Cheese Toast Month fundraiser.
The money came from sales of Cheese Toast Patty Melts and Cheese Toast Malibu Melts; the nationwide program raised more than $80,000 this year. The team said the donation will fund spirit packs, equipment and team travel, and the Rams will host a hitting clinic on October 20.
