Fernley Affordable Housing Project Breaks Ground With State Support

Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo joined local leaders in Fernley on October 8 to break ground on Wilson Landing, a planned 37-home development for households earning up to 150 percent of area median income. The homes are expected to range from about 1,300 to 1,700 square feet.
The Nevada Housing Division approved a $5 million low-interest loan through the Nevada Attainable Housing Account. State officials said repaid funds can be reinvested in future projects to expand homeownership for working families.
