Ohio Expedited Pardon Project Surpasses 300 Pardons

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced on October 6 that 323 people have received pardons through the Ohio Governor's Expedited Pardon Project, with more than 340 others in progress. Launched in 2019, the program offers free legal help and fast-track review by the Ohio Parole Board for people with low-level records who have lived law-abiding lives for years after completing their sentences.
