About 110,550 PACEARTH Swing Seats Recalled After Fall Reports
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that Pacearth Direct is recalling about 110,550 PACEARTH U-type swing seats. The seat, metal carabiners or quick links, or webbing straps can break during use, creating a serious fall hazard.
The swings were sold on Amazon for about $27 to $57. CPSC said the company had received at least 30 reports of falls, resulting in at least nine injuries, including fractures, head injuries and bruising. Consumers should stop using the recalled swing seats immediately and follow the recall instructions to seek a full refund. (Source: U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission)
