Wyoming Extends Emergency Livestock Transport Permits Through Nov. 6

Governor Mark Gordon signed Executive Order 2026-008 extending authorization for emergency relief permits for vehicles transporting oversize and overweight loads of livestock feed and livestock across Wyoming, expiring no later than November 6, 2026. The governor's office said widespread drought, high temperatures, low humidity and wildfires this spring and summer depleted pasture grass and natural forage, creating a critical livestock feed shortage.
