Atlanta Pride Festival Returns to Piedmont Park on Sunday: Noon Parade, Two Stages Make Up Canceled Saturday Lineup After Isaias

【Source: FOX 5 Atlanta】On Sunday, October 11, 2026, the Atlanta Pride Festival returned to Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta after Saturday's storm-forced shutdown. Organizers packed the entire lineup into a revised Sunday schedule: the annual parade stepped off at noon through Midtown streets; the Coca-Cola Main Stage and the Starlight Cabaret both opened with full programs featuring Zee Machine, Cain Culto and headliner JT, plus special guest Shea Couleé at the Starlight Cabaret; the festival marketplace ran until 7 p.m.
All programming for Saturday, October 10, was canceled due to severe weather from Hurricane Isaias. "While we are disappointed that weather conditions have impacted our Saturday programming, the safety of our attendees, performers, volunteers, and community remains our highest priority," said Chris McCain, Executive Director of Atlanta Pride. "Atlanta Pride has always been about resilience, community and celebration."
The park filled with festivalgoers on Sunday. First-time attendees told reporters the atmosphere made them feel welcomed and at home. "I think it just kind of shows that we all care for each other and that we're here to grow," said Gabriella, attending for the first time. Milo added, "Everyone here is really open and very nice — if you are worried about feeling weird coming, there's no judgment. It's just come hang out. It's a good time."
Founded in 1970, Atlanta Pride is Georgia's oldest nonprofit organization serving the LGBTQ+ community. In recent years, the annual festival weekend has drawn more than 350,000 attendees to metro Atlanta. The event is the centerpiece of the 2026 Pride weekend; after the storm, organizers made up for the lost day with a doubly packed Sunday celebration.
