[Social Media Buzz] Viral Michael Dell "Wife-Defense Tweet" Is Fake: Fabricated by Parody Account, Never Posted
On October 11, a screenshot of a tweet appearing to show Michael Dell defending his wife Susan Dell against online critics spread massively across X and Facebook. The screenshot read: "I'm the one who gets to wake up next to her," earning wild reposts and likes.
It was soon debunked: the screenshot was fabricated by the parody page Idisobey, and Dell never posted any such tweet. This is a textbook case of a traffic-hyped false sensation — first it goes viral, then it gets debunked.
