Corona Roundup: State of the City Video Live, Oct. 17 Circle Cleanup, Pink Patches and the Corona 5000
Corona is a city in Riverside County, California. The City of Corona's latest newsletter highlights the following.
The 2026 State of the City video, "Grand By Design," is now live, presenting the city's vision, progress and design plans. On Saturday, October 17, the Corona Beautiful cleanup series hosts "Clean the Corona Circle": volunteers meet at City Hall and walk the entire Corona Circle — registration is required. Souvenir Pink Patches are on sale for $10 each, cash only, with all proceeds benefiting the Pink Patch Project; both Fire and Police Department patches are available at 730 Public Safety Way (first floor) and 735 Public Safety Way (second floor). The Corona 5000 — a 5K run/walk on the historic Grand Boulevard loop, now with a new Kids 500 — returns Saturday, February 27, 2027; the inaugural 2026 race sold out, and early registration is encouraged.
Also in the newsletter: the city is drafting a strategic plan and invites residents to complete its survey; the Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) is recruiting volunteers to support victims alongside police, fire and medical personnel, with the next training starting October 22; and a Senior Scam Stopper Seminar takes place October 22 at 10:30 a.m. Weekly fixtures include the Corona Farmers Market (Saturdays, 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., Sixth & Main) and Cars & Coffee (Saturdays, 7–9 a.m.), the Inland Empire's largest weekly car show.
