Newport Beach Opens Public Poll for Phase XI Sculptures in Civic Center Park
Newport Beach is a city in Orange County, California. The City of Newport Beach has opened a public online poll for Phase XI of the Sculpture Exhibition in Civic Center Park, running October 10–19 at newportbeachca.gov/sculpture-garden. Up to 10 artworks will be selected for display in the park.
Top picks from the public vote will go to the City Arts Commission on October 22 and then to the City Council for final selection; according to the City's announcement, the exhibition runs from June 2026 to June 2028. The rotating exhibition is one of the city's signature public-art programs: works are loaned by the artists and installed by the city, with a curatorial panel screening submissions before the public vote. The previous phase drew 1,736 validated votes in its public poll.
Orange County residents are encouraged to cast a vote and help decide which sculptures will anchor the park's outdoor gallery for the next two years.
