The Minnesota Vikings beat the New Orleans Saints 23-13 on the road on Oct. 11, improving to 5-0 and remaining undefeated. Quarterback Kyler Murray completed 24 of 30 passes for 229 yards and one touchdown pass, while running back Aaron Jones rushed for 113 yards and sealed the win with an 8-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.

The Vikings' fourth-ranked defense was dominant: it held the Saints to just 142 total yards. Saints quarterback Tyler Shough completed 16 of 25 passes for only 96 yards with two interceptions, and the Saints managed just nine first downs all game. Justin Jefferson caught six passes for 79 yards in front of his hometown crowd, including a 15-yard touchdown grab from Murray.

The win came at a cost: tight end T.J. Hockenson left the game with a concussion after landing on his head on the opening drive. The Vikings now enter their bye week and will continue their push for a playoff berth after the rest.
