West Hollywood Hosts the 42nd AIDS Walk Los Angeles on October 18, With Multiple Street Closures
West Hollywood is a city in Los Angeles County, California. The 42nd annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles will take place at West Hollywood Park on October 18 beginning at 10:30 a.m., under the theme Defend Care, Demand Action, raising funds for HIV/AIDS services across Los Angeles County. West Hollywood will implement street and lane closures that day, including part of San Vicente Boulevard from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. and part of Santa Monica Boulevard from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Since its first edition in 1985, the event has raised more than $100 million, with proceeds supporting APLA Health's HIV/AIDS services across the county.
