Temecula is a city in Riverside County, California. October is National Manufacturing Month in the United States. The Temecula City Council's 2026 proclamation list shows the council will present a Manufacturing Month proclamation this month to the chair of the Southwest California Manufacturing Council, recognizing the sector's contribution to the local economy.

According to the Valley Business Journal, Temecula is home to more than 320 manufacturers with a combined workforce of nearly 8,000 people, producing goods ranging from electronics and medical equipment to plastic products, making manufacturing a significant source of jobs in the Temecula Valley.

The city works with the Southwest California Manufacturing Council to give local manufacturers networking and resource opportunities. The Temecula Valley Unified School District's career and technical education (CTE) programs also partner with local manufacturers, giving students a chance to visit companies and learn about industry careers.

Temecula City Council meetings are held at City Hall, 41000 Main Street, and agendas and proclamation texts are available through the Legistar system on the city website. (Compiled from the Temecula City Council 2026 proclamation list and the Valley Business Journal)
