Tobey Maguire Officiates Ex-Wife Jennifer Meyer's Hawaii Wedding, Weeks After Their Divorce Was Finalized
Jennifer Meyer has married music executive Geoffrey Ogunlesi — and her ex-husband, "Spider-Man" actor Tobey Maguire, officiated the ceremony, according to photos of the wedding obtained by PEOPLE and reporting by Entertainment Weekly on October 11-12. The couple wed on Saturday, October 10, at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii, with Maguire, in a black suit and tie, leading the couple through their vows beneath a flower-adorned arch. Meyer, a jewelry designer, wore a strapless white gown, and Ogunlesi a black suit and bow tie.
The arrangement drew attention because Maguire and Meyer's divorce was finalized only weeks earlier, on September 21. The two met in 2003 while Maguire was filming "Seabiscuit" and married in Hawaii in September 2007. They announced their separation in June 2016, just shy of their ninth anniversary, saying in a statement at the time that their first priority remained raising their children together. Meyer petitioned for divorce in 2020, and Maguire filed his response in July 2025; the legal process concluded more than a decade after the split.
All three of Meyer's children attended: Ruby, 19, and Otis, 17, her children with Maguire, along with the baby daughter she and Ogunlesi welcomed in May. Ogunlesi is the son of Nigerian billionaire lawyer and investment banker Adebayo Ogunlesi; the couple announced their engagement in 2024.
The guest list included Leonardo DiCaprio with his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sanchez Bezos, Courteney Cox, Kate Hudson and stylist Rachel Zoe. Maguire, 51, is best known as Peter Parker in Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man" trilogy. Meyer, 49, has previously told PEOPLE that the former couple decided early on to put their children first and that neither wanted to miss holidays or family celebrations, praising Maguire as an incredible father.
