Blues to Offer Free Over-the-Air Broadcasts for 10 Thursday Games

Tuesday, October 13, 2026 · Sports · GSM News

St. Louis is an independent city in Missouri. The St. Louis Blues and Gray Media announced a multi-year agreement on October 12: 10 select Blues games will be carried over the air through the 'Blues Thursday' package on St. Louis's First Alert ABC (Channel 32) and 10 additional Gray Media markets across the team's five-state broadcast territory, starting with the October 22 home game against Vegas at 7 p.m. It is the third year of the partnership, and the first in which Gray's newly acquired ABC 32 station takes part.

The agreement covers more than 4.8 million television households in the team's territory, with games available free via antenna as well as cable, satellite and streaming platforms. Chris Zimmerman, the Blues' president and CEO of business operations, said the top goal of the team's Blue Note+ distribution strategy is letting fans watch games the way they prefer, and that Gray's growing affiliate network is an important channel for reaching fans. The team has doubled its over-the-air offerings compared with last year. Other announced dates include November 6 at New Jersey, November 19 at Pittsburgh and December 17 at Boston.
