The Broadway comedy "Oh, Mary!" grossed $1,592,306 at the Lyceum Theatre in the week ending October 11, breaking the house record for the 16th time, Playbill reported on October 14. The production is currently headlined by Chinese-American comedian Bowen Yang, who took over the role of Mary Todd Lincoln on September 15.

Written by Cole Escola, "Oh, Mary!" retells Mary Todd Lincoln's life as absurdist comedy and has become one of Broadway's biggest comedy hits in recent years, repeatedly resetting its theatre's record.

Yang joined the cast of "Saturday Night Live" in 2019 as the show's first Chinese-American cast member and departed midway through Season 51 in December 2025, shifting his focus to stage and film. He voices the character Pfnee in the musical film "Wicked: For Good," opening in November. (GSM, based on Playbill)
