GSK Plans to Cut Up to 1,217 Jobs in Belgium, L'Echo Reports
British biopharmaceutical company GSK is planning to cut up to 1,217 jobs from its Belgium locations, Belgian newspaper L'Echo reported on Wednesday, according to Reuters.
The company announced the plan to unions earlier on Wednesday, L'Echo said. GSK and the unions did not immediately respond to requests for comment, and details such as the specific sites affected, the breakdown of positions and the implementation timetable have not been released.
