South Korean group BTS played its first-ever concerts in Peru on October 7, 9 and 10 at Estadio San Marcos in Lima as part of the ARIRANG world tour, drawing a combined attendance of 151,500 across the three shows, according to the group's agency, Big Hit Music — an average of 50,500 per performance.

Peru's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) projected ahead of the concerts that the shows would bring more than 50,000 tourists and excursionists to Lima, including over 36,500 overnight tourists and more than 14,000 same-day visitors, generating approximately US$18.7 million in tourism-related economic benefits. Its breakdown put inbound international tourism at about US$8.1 million, domestic tourism at US$9.9 million and excursionist spending at US$0.76 million. Ministry data showed some 28,000 ticket buyers lived in other Peruvian regions, 18.9 percent of all buyers, while 5.74 percent — more than 8,500 people — lived abroad, with Ecuador accounting for the largest share of foreign buyers at 27.9 percent.

The Lima Chamber of Commerce offered a broader estimate, projecting that wider commercial activity associated with the three performances could reach 150 million to 200 million soles (roughly US$43.5 million to US$58 million) across hospitality, restaurants, transport and retail. Local reporting cited an average ticket price of about 844 soles and preliminary ticket revenue of around 100 million soles. Those figures are projections and preliminary estimates that still require post-event verification. The South American leg of the tour next takes BTS to Santiago, Chile, on October 14, 16 and 17, followed by Buenos Aires and São Paulo.
