罢工期间,里斯本市内的 Carris 巴士与电车、葡萄牙铁路(CP)市郊列车等其他交通方式仍照常运行,但客流与延误预计将高于平日。Lisbon Metro workers went on strike on Wednesday, October 14, in a 24-hour stoppage that closed every station on the network. According to Hop in Portugal, the strike began at 5 a.m.on October 14 and runs until 5 a.m. on October 15, with all stations closed and no minimum services provided; normal service is expected to return at 6:30 a.m. on October 15. The strike was announced on the Lisbon Metro company's official website after talks between the trade unions and the company failed to reach agreement.

According to RTP, the workers' demands include full and immediate compliance with the agreement signed on April 13, 2026; effective strengthening of the operations control centre(PCC) and traction workforces, with clear recruitment and training schedules; respect for work schedules and rest periods, and for the exceptional nature of overtime; restoration and full exercise of the functions of DOP management, with the necessary access, leave and autonomy; prevention and serious investigation of the situations of pressure and coercion described by the workers; and concrete measures with realistic deadlines, plus joint monitoring of compliance with commitments.

Other transport in the Portuguese capital, including Carris buses and trams and CP suburban trains, continued to operate during the stoppage, with heavier crowds and delays expected.
