Taiwan Pride Organisers Set Taipei City October 19 Deadline Over Bar Search Investigation

Asian LGBTQ media outlet Fridae reported on October 14 that Taiwan Pride organisers, the Taiwan Rainbow Civil Action Association, have given the Taipei City Government until October 19 to respond to their demand for an independent investigation into the October 3 police search of Commander D, a gay bar in Ximending. Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an has apologised over the incident and ordered a police review. This year's Taiwan Pride march is scheduled for October 31 in Taipei.
