West Virginia Voter Registration Closes Oct. 13, Online Until 11:59 p.m.

Voter registration for this year's general election in West Virginia closed Oct. 13, with eligible residents able to register online through the secretary of state's website until 11:59 p.m. or in person at their county clerk's office, West Virginia media reported.
State election officials said the voter rolls will move into election preparation after the deadline. Registered voters can check their status and polling place information online, and absentee and early voting arrangements are published by the secretary of state and county offices.
West Virginia voters will decide state and federal offices this year. Election officials reminded residents to verify their registration details, noting that anyone who missed the deadline cannot vote in this election but can register for future ones.
County clerks' offices extended service hours on the deadline day to help residents complete their registrations.
